I fully intended to start the new year with several new topics. I have actually recorded some videos to post. But, I have recently upgraded (downgraded?) my computer from XP to Vista, and my system is having trouble syncing the recorded audio and video simultaneously. I need to tweak Vista for performance, or come up with another way to record videos for this site. Hopefully a workable solution can be developed quickly.
I'm looking forward to covering some more interesting topics.

I created this site to provide free instruction to those out there wanting to learn jazz theory, improvisation, and soloing. In my opinion, the piano is the best instrument to learn all of these topics on. And it happens to be my specialty. I'll address some topics that are piano-specific, but mostly, the information here can be applied by anyone learning to play jazz, regardless of the instrument.
